Michelle Peard, SPHR has over 18 years of HR experience with an emphasis in training and development. She has consulted hundreds of employers on various HR issues. She served as President of San Diego-ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) chapter, received a “lifetime achievement award” for her contribution to the profession and is also a life-time member. She has taught HR professionals preparing for the PHR/SPHR Certification exam and has been certified as an SPHR since 1998.
Janis Whitaker has over 24 years of HR and Workplace Learning and Performance experience. She is the owner of JP Whitaker & Associates a results-oriented training and consulting enterprise, established in 1991. Ms. Whitaker has trained and consulted in various industries from non-profit to Fortune 500 companies. Janis has also presented at numerous professional associations and organizations. The San Diego ASTD has distinguished her as “The Trainer’s Trainer”. Her popular book, “Interviewing by Example: Finding the right piece of the puzzle” provides leaders with the tools needed to prepare for and conduct successful professional interviews.
